How does the Moulin Rouge! The Musical Lottery work?
You can enter the Moulin Rouge! The Musical Lottery exclusively on the TodayTix mobile app (available on the App Store and Google Play Store).
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter the Lottery. To enter the Lottery you must either reside in Australia and/or be able to attend the relevant scheduled performance, and be aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
You can enter the Moulin Rouge! The Musical $30 Lottery exclusively on the TodayTix mobile app (available on the App Store and Google Play Store). Guests can enter for the chance to purchase exclusive $30 tickets beginning each Thursday at 12:01am, winners are selected the following Wednesday starting at 1:00pm. Winners will be notified between 1:00pm and 6:00pm the same day, and will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for performances taking place the following week (Tuesday - Sunday).
If you do not claim and purchase the tickets offered within the 1hr acceptance time, then another potential winner will be selected at random, by a computerised process.
You can enter the Lottery for as many performances as you wish, but you can only win the Lottery for each performance, once. Each entry will be for one performance only, and your entry cannot be rolled-over or exchanged to a Lottery for another performance.
There is a limit of one entry per person per performance. Multiple entries for the same performance by the same person may result in disqualification.
When you enter the Lottery through the TodayTix mobile app you can earn one (1) extra entry into the same Lottery that you have entered if you share the auto-filled post on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram Stories.
The Moulin Rouge! The Musical $30 Lottery is a chance to win the right to buy tickets to Moulin Rouge! The Musical at an exclusive $30 Lottery price, and not a chance to win tickets to the performance itself.

How much are tickets purchased through the Moulin Rouge! The Musical Lottery?
Winners pay $30 per ticket. Winners are eligible for up to a maximum of 2 tickets subject to the entry.
How can I change my lottery entry?
If you need to update your entry name or email address before the drawing begins, you can do so by navigating to "My Orders," locating your lottery entry, and selecting "Options." This menu will be available until just before the lottery begins selecting winners. Once the lottery begins selecting winners on Wednesday at 1:00pm, we are unable to modify entries in any way. This includes changing the name, phone number, email address, number of tickets, or dates entered. We, unfortunately, cannot edit the number of tickets associated with your entry to protect the integrity of the lottery.
Where are seats purchased through the Moulin Rouge! The Musical Lottery located?
Seating is assigned directly by the box office and can be located anywhere in the theatre. Seating is not first-come, first-served; the box office will assign your seats after the lottery has completed. Please note that on occasion, lottery seats may not be sat together.

Can I give my Moulin Rouge! The Musical Lottery tickets to someone else?
Tickets purchased as part of the Lottery are non-transferrable and cannot be returned, exchanged, or resold. The contact information must match a valid photo ID of the listed purchaser. Photo ID matching the pick-up name must be presented to the box office in order to collect your tickets.
How do I know if I won?
If you're a winner, TodayTix will send you an email and/or SMS notification! You will have 1hr to claim your tickets. You can also always check to see the status of your entry by navigating to the "My Orders" section of your account, which shows your status in real time.
What happens if I'm not selected as a winner?
We encourage you to enter for future! You can always set an alert to be reminded when the lottery will begin accepting entries again. Click here to learn more about Alert Me Notifications.
My time to claim winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical Lottery tickets expired, what do I do?
If your time to claim has expired, our lottery system will automatically choose another winner. However, this will not affect your chances for winning in the future, so we encourage you to keep entering!
I won and purchased my Moulin Rouge! The Musical Lottery tickets, how and when do I pick them up?
Tickets will be available for collection from the box office beginning one hour prior to the performance.
Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be returned or exchanged. Photo ID matching your pick-up name designated at checkout is required to collect your tickets without exception. We appreciate your cooperation.
How does Covid-19 impact my booking?
Please note that masks are highly recommended at all times you are in the theatre for those aged 12+. Please note that COVID exchange policies do not apply to Moulin Rouge! The Musical $30 Lottery tickets. Please contact TodayTix support by clicking "Submit A Ticket" above or emailing AUSsupport@todaytix.com if you are feeling unwell or meet the requirements for self-isolation no later than 48 hours prior to the performance start time to discuss your options.
