How does The Friday Forty work?
You can enter The Friday Forty at any time from Monday at 12.01am (AEDT) until 1.00pm (AEDT) every Friday, for performances the following week. At 1.00pm (AEDT) every Friday the lottery will no longer accept entries and begin to select the lucky winners, who will have the opportunity to purchase tickets at the exclusive lottery price. Winners will be notified between 1.00pm (AEDT) and 5.00pm (AEDT) the same day and will have exactly one hour to purchase lottery tickets before they are offered to another guest.
Tickets for The Friday Forty are available exclusively through TodayTix. It is not possible to purchase these tickets in person at the theatre or anywhere else.

How much are the Friday Forty Lottery tickets?
Winners pay $40 total per ticket ($80 maximum; up to 2 tickets per winner).
What are the age requirements for Harry Potter?
The show is suitable for ages 10 and up. All persons entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Babes-in-arms are not admitted to the auditorium. Please note that patrons under the age of 16 will not be admitted into the theatre unless accompanied by an adult.
How can I change my lottery entry?
If you need to update your entry name or email address before the drawing begins, you can do so by navigating to "My Orders," locating your lottery entry, and selecting "Options." This menu will be available until just before the lottery begins selecting winners. Once the lottery begins selecting winners on Friday at 1.00pm (AEDT), we are unable to modify entries in any way. This includes changing the name, phone number, email address, number of tickets, or dates entered. We, unfortunately, cannot edit the number of tickets associated with your entry to protect the integrity of the lottery.
Where are my seats located for Friday Forty?
Seating is assigned directly by the box office and can be located anywhere in the theatre. Seating is not first-come, first-served; the box office will assign your seats after the lottery has completed. Please note that lottery seats may not be sat together.
I've entered the lottery, but will have accessible seating requirements should I win the chance to purchase these tickets.
We're here to help with your accessibility requests and pass on any relevant information to the box office on your behalf. If you've won the chance to purchase lottery tickets and have completed the checkout process, please contact us by using the "Submit a Ticket" button above or emailing us at AUSsupport@todaytix.com no later than one hour after completing checkout to detail how we can assist. Additional information can be found on our Friday Forty Accessibility Requests help page.
Can I give my Friday Forty tickets to someone else?
Friday Forty tickets are non-transferrable and cannot be returned, exchanged, or resold. The contact information must match a photo ID of the listed purchaser. ID may be required at any point to verify purchaser information.
The production reserves the right to refuse admission to customers with tickets purchased on re-sale websites. Tickets purchased through official ticketing platforms must not be sold or advertised for sale on the internet, in newspapers, or elsewhere. Any ticket advertised for sale in this way will be automatically void.
How do I know if I won?
We'll send you an email, SMS or push notification if you're a winner! You can also always check to see the status of your entry by navigating to the "My Orders" section of your account, which shows your status in real time.
What happens if I'm not selected as a winner?
We encourage you to enter for future! You can always set an alert to be reminded when the lottery will begin accepting entries again. Click here to learn more about Alert Me Notifications.
My time to claim winning Friday Forty tickets expired, what do I do?
If your time to claim has expired, our lottery system will automatically choose another winner. However, this will not affect your chances for winning in the future, so we encourage you to keep entering!
