TodayTix Rush

NOTE: TodayTix Rush is currently only available in the TodayTix app downloaded to your iPhone, iPad or Android device. You cannot access TodayTix Rush on your web browser or mobile website. 

TodayTix Rush is a special program for deeply discounted tickets offered on the same day of a performance. Tickets generally begin to be distributed at 10 AM (9 AM Pacific Time) and are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Rush tickets are only offered for select shows. Due to the highly discounted nature of rush, we do limit the number of tickets a guest can buy for any given performance. This limit is two tickets, with limits for select family shows in the UK set at four. Rush tickets are an immediate final sale and are not eligible for exchange, transfer, or refund.

To access Rush tickets, you must "unlock" them for that show. You have the option to share your unlock on social media. If you do not want to share the post on social media, you may opt to "Unlock Without Sharing," found underneath the Facebook/Twitter sharing options. Once this option is selected, you will need to confirm "Don't Share" on the following screen. We urge you to share on our partner's behalf to support the work of the theatrical community.

Rush tickets remain unlocked for that show until you purchase them. So if you unlock and there are no remaining Rush tickets, you can return the next time Rush tickets are available without needing to unlock again. Once you purchase Rush tickets for a show, the feature re-locks. You can unlock it again at any time.

Rush tickets are extremely popular on our app and sell out within minutes, or even within seconds. Occasionally it comes down to a matter of timing (and often luck) as to whether you beat someone to the post for the tickets. 

Due to heavy traffic when the rush opens, the system may give an "All seats are being held" error as a result of tickets being claimed by others. You may also receive a nondescript error message, which is also a  result of the system attempting to acknowledge that all tickets have been placed in other guest's carts.
